Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple

 Kanipakam, Chittoor District, APSwayambhu Ganesha · Pancha Ganapati Kshetram

The Swayambhu (self-manifested) idol of Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka is a rare geological marvel — the deity is believed to be growing in size every year and has been steadily emerging from the earth for centuries. The idol was discovered by three farming brothers in a field, and the temple tank surrounding it is considered supremely holy. Pilgrims flock here to seek blessings for new beginnings, resolution of long-standing disputes, removal of obstacles and fulfilment of heartfelt wishes. The annual Brahmotsavams and Vinayaka Chavithi celebrations draw hundreds of thousands of devotees from across Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
