Virtual Seva and Connected Darshan at Tirumala

With a virtual seva, you book a participation in a Tirumala seva that the priests perform with your name and gothram, and you watch it on SVBC. The booking carries a connected Special Entry Darshan that you use later, in person. This guide explains how the two parts fit together.

Information guide for pilgrims. We are a taxi service and we do not provide or arrange darshan, sevas, rooms, tickets or donations. Please book only on the official TTD websites, and confirm details there. Last checked October 2026.

What it is

Virtual participation lets a devotee take part in sevas such as Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Arjitha Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Seva without being in the temple hall. The seva is performed in the temple by priests, with the devotee's name and gothram recited, and it is shown on SVBC.

The important part is the connected darshan. Each booking carries a Special Entry Darshan that you use later, in person, at Tirumala.

Cost and eligibility

Kalyanotsavam is reported at Rs 1,000 for two persons by two sources. For Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Unjal Seva and Sahasra Deepalankara, one source says Rs 500 per person and another says about Rs 200, so the figures conflict. Check the portal for the live price.

The darshan part is a Rs 300-class Special Entry ticket and is included in the booking, so you do not buy a second Special Entry ticket.

Any devotee with matching ID can book. Aadhaar is used for Indian pilgrims and a passport for foreigners. The seva is watched remotely, while the darshan is in person. Children below 12 normally enter free with an adult.

Release pattern

Virtual sevas are released monthly, about three months ahead. For example, the June 2026 virtual seva and connected darshan opened on 21 March at 3 PM, with the e-seva quota the same day at 10 AM. December 2026 sevas opened on 22 September at 10 AM.

The quota is limited and sells out quickly, so be ready on release day. The number of tickets allowed per login was not found.

Choosing your darshan date

Booking the seva does not fix the darshan date. After payment, go to Transaction History on the portal and pick the darshan date from the available dates. Without choosing a date there is no darshan.

Brahmotsavam and Vaikuntha Ekadasi days are typically not offered for connected darshan. Seva timings vary by seva.

On the day

You watch the seva at home on SVBC at the seva time. You do not need to be at Tirumala for it.

For the darshan, carry the original ID used at booking and report at the Supadam / Special Entry entrance. The exact gate was not found, so follow your ticket and temple staff. Only persons whose ID was given at booking may attend.
